We’ve just received some new boards from one of our favourite companies- Skull Skates. Why is Skull Skates so rad you ask? The company began in 1978 in Regina, SK, and though it’s moved around since then, it’s currently still within the Canadian border, in Vancouver, BC.

This weekend, take some time to explore all of the awesome local businesses in Halifax. I Love Local Halifax’s Open City is a 2-day event where you can experience take-out, museum discounts, product demos and free gifts from independent shops, live music, and great specials all over the city.
It’s a beautiful day outside so there’s no excuse not to!

What’s New Here?
Funny you ask, because we just got a ton of awesome stuff in from some of our favorites.

It’s Ol’ Greg back in the shop after an award winning West coast relocation.
Okay, I didn’t win any awards for moving away, but all that matters is that I’m back for a short visit and I’m putting some of my shop faves on blast in hopes that you come in and take them off the Proskates books.
In case you forget; I have impeccable taste, so you should pay attention.
Right off the bat. I gotta hand it to my boys at Studio Skateboards for such a sick video. There’s a good selection of decks in stock right now, so be sure to come in and try one out and support a quality skate company.
Speaking of hardgoods, if you’re going to get a new deck you might as well grab some trucks, wheels and bearings too. Here are my picks for those. Thunder 149′ers in raw. 55mm Senn Dog Paradise wheels and the obligatory Swizzles with Speed Cream. Go faster.
Just copped some Nikes. Koston 1s. They rule. Don’t front.
If today’s technology is a little too much for you to handle you can never go wrong with Vans Half Cabs…20 years strong and still stylish.
